Soccer Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

If Riverside was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Wade Hampton last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Eastside Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Riverside in their meetings with Eastside: they've now lost six in a row.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Eastside, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will welcome Wade Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastside, they will host Spartanburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastside are facing Spartanburg at the right time seeing as Spartanburg are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
