Walnut Grove put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Denison Yellow Jackets a 3-0 shutout. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mason Kutch and Heyden Mountcastle scored all three of Walnut Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Walnut Grove pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Denison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
