Hudson is 9-0-1 against Nordonia since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Explorers will be playing at home against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hudson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Green just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Saturday. Neither they nor the Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Hudson happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 2nd.

Meanwhile, Nordonia has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 28. They came up short against Wadsworth on Tuesday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Nordonia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Wadsworth are ranked 67th).

Nordonia's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. Hudson's draw makes their record 7-3-2 this season.

Hudson took their victory against Nordonia in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Explorers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
