Jaylin Turner Game Report: @ Northmont

Jaylin Turner was dynamite on Monday, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with two or fewer walks. On the year, she has an ERA of 2.20 over 54 innings pitched.

Even though Turner couldn't lead Fairmont over Northmont, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Firebirds have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
