Brookhaven moved up to 333 from 394 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Columbus City - North. The Bearcats were able to move up by defeating Northland 29-28.

Centennial was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in the league. Earlier in the week, the Stars triumphed over Linden-McKinley 28-18.

Brookhaven's dynamic duo of Bruce Foster and Terry Barker proved tough for the Vikings to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Foster threw for 40 yards and 2 touchdowns and Barker had 14 yards receiving.

Anthony Thornton's team's dynamic duo of Foster and Barker proved to be unstoppable against Northland, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Foster put up the best numbers in passing as the Bearcats bested Kevin Tooson's team.

Adonis Davis was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 155 yards as Beechcroft defeated the Vikings. Landers Cox also contributed to the rushing game with 67 yards on the ground.

Barker was the best wideout in Columbus City - North this week as the Bearcats topped Northland.

Davis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Cougars bested Whetstone.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Braves' RAMROTH FINNEGAN and TRENT HARPER have proven to be a lethal combination. FINNEGAN has thrown for 741 yards this season, while HARPER, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 8 catches for 209 yards. Beechcroft's Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 325.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Mifflin takes on Centennial. The Punchers are in fourth place, while the Stars are in first place.

There should be lots of points scored when Brookhaven and Whetstone face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Bearcats comes in having scored 84 this season, while Don Poff's team has scored 94. Brookhaven scored 29 points last week as it bested the Vikings.

Mifflin took down East 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
