Basketball Recap: Twentynine Palms Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Twentynine Palms, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 54-47 win over the Canyon Springs Cougars on Tuesday.

Christopher Grabow had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 50% from the field to rack up 19 points and seven boards. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hunter Evans, who posted ten points.

Twentynine Palms' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Canyon Springs, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Twentynine Palms wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 86-81 win against Big Bear on the 3rd. As for Canyon Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 83-33 victory against Cathedral City on the 4th.
