Basketball Recap: Utica Academy of Science's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

On Friday, everything went the Utica Academy of Science Atoms's way against the Adirondack Wildcats as the Utica Academy of Science Atoms made off with a 71-46 victory. The Atoms pushed the score to 62-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Utica Academy of Science's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Akol Machteng, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Berkley, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine assists.
