Basketball Game Preview: Woodinville Falcons vs. Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars

The Woodinville Falcons will square off against the Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars at 6:50 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Woodinville sitting on 11 straight wins dating back to last season and Bothell/Inglemoor on five.

Woodinville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Lake Washington, who was ranked sixth at the time (Woodinville was ranked first). Woodinville secured a 57-51 W over Lake Washington on Wednesday. The 57-point effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Kamryn Wille was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Hailey Quiggle, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bothell/Inglemoor). They claimed a resounding 71-43 victory over Kamiak. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

Woodinville's win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Woodinville beat Bothell/Inglemoor 52-42 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will Woodinville repeat their success, or does Bothell/Inglemoor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
