They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mountain Heritage Cougars 3-2. NCSSM: Morganton better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Colette Stokas, as she scored every single goal for her team.

NCSSM: Morganton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season. As for Mountain Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7-2.
