Simpson got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Evans Eagles by a score of 49-40 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Broncos: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 49-45 defeat.

Simpson's win bumped their record up to 9-21. As for Evans, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-31.

Looking ahead, Simpson is taking a road trip to take on Florien at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evans, they will challenge Hornbeck at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. One thing working in Hornbeck's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
