Albemarle is 9-1 against Orange County since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Patriots will square off against the Fighting Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Albemarle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Albemarle will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Monticello on Thursday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 5-1 win. It was an even better day for Jacob Brazie as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Orange County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Fluvanna County. That's two games in a row now that Orange County have lost by exactly two goals.

Albemarle's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Orange County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.

Albemarle couldn't quite get it done against Orange County in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
