Volleyball Recap: Upperman Falls to Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy in First Game of Season

Upperman unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers on Friday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-10.

Joey Restey paced Upperman's offense, picking up five kills. Restey got some help from Beau Naylor and his nine assists.

Upperman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Valor College Prep on the 24th. As for Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Green Hill on the 21st.
