Soccer Game Preview: Pearl-Cohn vs. Antioch

The Pearl-Cohn Firebirds will challenge the Antioch Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pearl-Cohn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Pearl-Cohn came up short against Independence Academy on Wednesday, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Pearl-Cohn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Independence Academy are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Antioch lost 6-3 to Christ Presbyterian Academy on Thursday.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Pearl-Cohn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-2.
