Swartz Creek came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Fenton Tigers as they made off with a 9-3 win. Considering the Dragons have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Swartz Creek pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fenton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16-1.
