Baseball Recap: Lewis-Palmer's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Lewis-Palmer entered their tilt with Air Academy on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Kadets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rangers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Drew Boyarko looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hunter Morgan was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Garrett Hennis, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Lewis-Palmer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Air Academy only posted an OBP of .200.

Lewis-Palmer's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Air Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7-1.

Lewis-Palmer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Kadets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
