Baseball Game Preview: Northampton Konkrete Kids vs. Bethlehem Catholic Hawks

The Northampton Konkrete Kids will take on the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Northampton and four for Bethlehem Catholic.

Northampton lost 9-3 to Freedom on Thursday.

Charlie Burrell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Brady Simock also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat Easton Area on Thursday and fell 4-3.

Bryce Blawn was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Joey Richards, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Northampton's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Bethlehem Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
