Soccer Recap: Greenback Takes a Loss

Greenback lost against Roane County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cherokees lost 9-1 to the Yellowjackets. Greenback have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenback now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Roane County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Greenback will head out on the road to square off against Polk County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenback are facing Polk County at the right time seeing as Polk County are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Roane County, they will be playing at home against Oneida at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
