Volleyball Recap: Easley Triumphs

While Easley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Berkeley Stags by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Easley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Easley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Berkeley, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Easley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Batesburg-Leesville on the 6th. As for Berkeley, they will welcome Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
