The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks will take on the ABF Academy Homestead Bandits at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Archbishop McCarthy will be strutting in after a win while ABF Academy Homestead will be coming in after a defeat.

ABF Academy Homestead will be up against a hot Archbishop McCarthy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Archbishop McCarthy came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against Taravella.

Archbishop McCarthy got a great performance from Nick Llinas as he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, Llinas gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in February.

Archbishop McCarthy's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for ABF Academy Homestead, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
