North Daviess has gone a perfect 6-0 against Brown County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars will welcome the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. North Daviess will be strutting in after a win while Brown County will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, North Daviess needed a bit of extra time to put away North Central. They came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 7-2.

Meanwhile, Brown County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to Northview.

Brown County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Freeman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

North Daviess pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Brown County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything went North Daviess' way against Brown County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as North Daviess made off with a 13-2 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
