They came out on top against the Edwardsville Tigers by a score of 6-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Boilermakers, who have now won four games in a row.
Lydia Hammond spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
