Football Recap: Jacksonville Fightin' Indians vs. Henderson Lions

After flying high against Brownsboro last Friday, Jacksonville came back down to earth. The Jacksonville Fightin' Indians were outmatched by the Henderson Lions at home and fell 42-7. The Fightin' Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Although Jacksonville took the loss, they still got scores from Elijah Whitaker and Trent Clater.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jacksonville will challenge Athens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Athens knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Jacksonville likes a good challenge. As for Henderson, they will square off against Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Henderson is facing Gainesville at the right time seeing as Gainesville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
