Baseball Recap: Searcy Comes Up Short

Searcy blew Paragould out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Paragould got their revenge. The Lions fell just short of the Rams by a score of 6-4. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Searcy moved to 9-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Paragould, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Searcy beat the Rams by a score of 4-3 later that day.
