Basketball Recap: Cedar Park Comes Up Short

Cedar Park was the 58-44 winner over Rouse when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cedar Park Timberwolves took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rouse Raiders. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Timberwolves came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Raiders are ranked 254th).

Cedar Park's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Rouse, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-13 record.

Cedar Park is taking a road trip to challenge Lockhart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Park is facing Lockhart at the right time seeing as Lockhart is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rouse, they will challenge Leander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
