Softball Recap: Elmore County's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Elmore County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs by a score of 13-9. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in March, they had to take a 10-9 loss.

Elmore County got a massive performance out of Raevyn Barris, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Barris a new career-high. Addison Hicks was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.

Elmore County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Elmore County now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Stanhope Elmore, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-10.
