            Softball Recap: Hamilton Huskies vs. Saugus Centurions        
        
		
        
        
            Hamilton was the  10-0 winner over Saugus when they last played one another  back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hamilton Huskies fell just short of the Saugus Centurions by a score of  3-2 on Saturday.
 Hamilton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jazmin Ramirez, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run. That  home run marked the first that  Ramirez  launched this season.
Hamilton has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record  this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the  losses came by an average of only one runs. The  win was  the third in a row for Saugus, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
 Coming up, Hamilton will take on O'Connor at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Saugus, they are headed away from home for the first time to  face off against  Canyon  at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Saugus' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2  runs per game  this season, so Canyon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
