Sardis is a perfect 9-0 against West End since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Sardis Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the West End Patriots at 2:00 p.m.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Sardis' offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oneonta on Saturday.

Sardis got a good showing from Price Hughes, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Sardis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Holland, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, West End got the win against Cedar Bluff on Friday by a conclusive 19-9.

West End now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sardis, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went Sardis' way against West End in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as Sardis made off with a 12-0 victory. Does Sardis have another victory up their sleeve, or will West End turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
