Palmetto entered their tilt with Chapman on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Panthers. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Landry Woodson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Kate Fowler, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Palmetto  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chapman only managed five  hits.
Palmetto pushed their record up to 13-11 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Chapman, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
 Coming up, Palmetto will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Woodruff  at 6:00  p.m. As for Chapman, they will face off against Pendleton at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
