Football Game Preview: Williamsburg Yellow Jackets vs. Middlesboro Yellowjackets

The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets will head out to face off against the Middlesboro Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Friday, Williamsburg humbled Lynn Camp with a 46-14 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

Meanwhile, while Middlesboro put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Pineville. The Yellowjackets blew past the Mountain Lions 50-0. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Williamsburg's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Middlesboro, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Williamsburg against Middlesboro in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 36-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
