Basketball Recap: Lennox Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lennox Academy can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the New Roads Jaguars by a score of 55-44. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their 22-point performance the matchup before.

Lennox Academy's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for New Roads, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Lennox Academy will take on Harbor Teacher in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Roads, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hawthorne Math & Science Academy on January 10, 2025.
