Football Game Preview: South Bison vs. Laramie Plainsmen + How To Watch

South hasn't had much luck against Laramie recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bison will head out on the road to square off against the Plainsmen at 6:00 p.m. South has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Campbell County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bison took a blow against the Camels, falling 63-8. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Meanwhile, Laramie faced Natrona County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Plainsmen fell 24-14 to the Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Plainsmen have lost by exactly ten points.

Laramie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

South was dealt a bruising 62-6 defeat at the hands of Laramie in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bison were down 34-0.
