Basketball Recap: Foothills Community Christian Skates Past Gallatin Valley Christian Homeschool with Ease

While Foothills Community Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool Cougars 53-6. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Foothills Community Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelcie Fulbright out in front who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Hass, who had nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Foothills Community Christian and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foothills Community Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Foothills Community Christian's defense has only allowed 26.9 points per game this season, so Heritage Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Foothills Community Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st.
