Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monroe). Everything went their way against the Anson Bearcats on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-0 win. Considering Monroe have won five contests by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Anson from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Yoseht Lopez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Monroe's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Anson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
