Soccer Recap: Torrance Wins Going Away Against Arroyo

It's playoff time, and Torrance had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Arroyo Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. Given the Tartars' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Knights are ranked 402nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Torrance is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Arroyo and nudges their season record down to 13-5.

Torrance wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Dana Hills on the 15th. Arroyo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
