Basketball Recap: Merritt Academy Comes Up Short

Merritt Academy lost against Hope Of Detroit Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Merritt Academy Mustangs fell 45-35 to Hope Of Detroit Academy. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Merritt Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hope Of Detroit Academy, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Merritt Academy will welcome Advanced Tech Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hope Of Detroit Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Detroit Cristo Rey at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
