Basketball Recap: St. Stephen's Episcopal Comes Up Short

St. Stephen's Episcopal and Kinkaid squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but St. Stephen's Episcopal had to settle for second. They fell 56-44 to the Kinkaid Falcons. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

St. Stephen's Episcopal is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16. As for Kinkaid, their win bumped their record up to 11-18.

St. Stephen's Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kinkaid, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. John's at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kinkaid is facing St. John's at the right time seeing as St. John's is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
