Negaunee put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Westwood Patriots by a score of 48-41. Given the Miners' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Patriots are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Negaunee's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Westwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
