Basketball Recap: New Haven Takes a Loss

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 80-22 loss at the hands of the Columbia City Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Eagles are ranked 11th).

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Columbia City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

New Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-47 victory against Heritage on the 30th. As for Columbia City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 80-22 win against New Haven on the 31st.
