Community Christian faced Mount St. Mary in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Royals came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Royals sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Emma Rogers was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and two assists.

Community Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount St. Mary only served three aces.

Community Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mount St. Mary, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
