Pahrump Valley is a perfect 4-0 against Canyon Springs since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Trojans will challenge the Pioneers at 3:30 p.m. One thing working in Pahrump Valley's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last nine contests.

On Tuesday, Pahrump Valley made easy work of Valley and carried off an 18-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Dakota Glenn was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Madison Rodriguez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Pahrump Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley only posted an OBP of .273.

Meanwhile, Canyon Springs fell victim to Boulder City and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 19-0 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Pahrump Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Canyon Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything went Pahrump Valley's way against Canyon Springs when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Pahrump Valley made off with a 28-0 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
