Volleyball Game Preview: Los Altos Conquerors vs. Alta Loma Braves

The Los Altos Conquerors will take on the Alta Loma Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Los Altos came up short against South Hills and fell 3-1. The Conquerors haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: South Hills scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Alta Loma came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Saints. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted against the Saints since September 7, 2021.

Alta Loma got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 31-29, 21-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Alta Loma's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Los Altos, their loss dropped their record down to 12-20.
