Recap: Schaeffer Academy Lions vs. Grand Meadow Superlarks
The Schaeffer Academy Lions lost against the Grand Meadow Superlarks back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Schaeffer Academy was the victim of a tough 64-43 loss at the hands of Grand Meadow.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Linnea Ekbom, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Buehler, who scored six points.
Schaeffer Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Grand Meadow, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5.
Schaeffer Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southland at 6:00 p.m. on January 6th. Grand Meadow will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Spring Grove at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th.
