After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Flomaton, Northview was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pine Forest Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Northview was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-16.

Riley Brooks paced Northview's offense, picking up six kills. Brooks got some help from Emma Bowman and her 16 assists. Bowman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Pine Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coming up, Northview will challenge Blacksher at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chiefs are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Pine Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
