Clarkston faced Sprayberry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Angoras walked away with a 2-0 win over the Yellow Jackets. The victory was familiar territory for the Angoras, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

Clarkston's offense was headlined by Lucas Williams and Heritier Musafiri, who picked up six kills apiece. Williams really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 17. Paul Holloway controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clarkston's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sprayberry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Clarkston has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Denmark on the 25th. As for Sprayberry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Harrison on the 29th.
