Baseball Recap: Keenan Comes Up Short

Keenan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 16-8 to the Fairfield Central Griffins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Keenan's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fairfield Central, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keenan will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Fairfield Central, they will take on Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Griffins will need to watch out since the Red Devils have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
