Baseball Recap: Brooklyn Comes Up Short

The Brooklyn Hurricanes came up short against the Normandy Invaders on Thursday, falling 21-4. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklyn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Normandy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooklyn will welcome John Hay at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.78 runs per game on average), something the Hurricanes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Normandy, they will challenge Elyria at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.48 runs per game on average), something the Invaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
