Basketball Game Preview: Sprayberry Yellow Jackets vs. Riverwood Raiders

Sprayberry hasn't had much luck against Riverwood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sprayberry Yellow Jackets will be playing at home against the Riverwood Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sprayberry comes in on five and Riverwood on three.

Last Friday, Sprayberry beat Creekview 71-60.

Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Riverwood made off with a 60-59 victory over Woodstock.

Riverwood is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Sprayberry, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Sprayberry came up short against Riverwood in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-58. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riverwood's Jr Leonard, who went 11 for 25 on his way to 36 points and eight rebounds.
