Softball Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Jefferson Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in March.

Molly Brady was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Rheanne Guerra also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Jefferson, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Chapel Hill will square off against Hughes Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jefferson, they will take on Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
