Basketball Recap: River View Takes a Loss

River View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Tri-Valley Scotties and fell 57-19. While losing is never fun, the Black Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Scotties are ranked 58th).

River View's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Tri-Valley, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

River View will head out to challenge Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-Valley, they will be home for the holidays to greet Morgan at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
