Baseball Recap: Gueydan Comes Up Short

Gueydan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles, falling 16-1.

Gueydan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Koen Breaux, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Gueydan's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Coming up, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy will host Erath at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gueydan will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' matchup: after the Eagles faces off against the Bobcats, they'll take on Gueydan again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
